                                   Quality Dairy Goats

                                            Nigerians
                                         Toggenburgs

Thank you for your interest in our herd. We have been breeding quality dairy goats forover 20 years. After adopting our son in 2002, we felt it would be better to raise him in acountry atmosphere, so purchased a small acreage in rural Nampa in 2004. The Nigeriansseemed perfect for the small space. In 2006 we moved to our acreage in Homedale. Weare nestled against the scenic bluffs of the Owyhee Mountains, with 2.5 acres ofsprinkler-irrigated pasture for the goats to enjoy!

Our Nigerian herd is a collage of some of the finest animals we could find. It is ourgoal to breed a long bodied, angular Nigerian Dwarf that is structurally sound, andproduces an adequate milk supply.

The LaMancha herd belongs to our son, Nate; with most being registered under hisSkyridge prefix.

We believe strongly in promoting our herd, and breeding the best animal that we can;due to this, no bucks will be sold from first fresheners, we prefer to evaluate the doethoroughly before potential herdsires are kept. All of our Nigerians are registered withthe American Dairy Goat Association. This is our 6th year on DHIA, and we appraisethe Nigerian herd bi-annually.

We enjoy competing with our Goats and our young herd has done quite well. Weattend 3 to 6 shows a year, and try to attend at least one out of state show so we canevaluate our animals with those from other areas.

We require a $100.00 deposit to reserve the kid of your choice. If that kid is unavailable,we will place your deposit towards another kid of your choice, place it towards a kidfrom the following kidding season, or refund your money.
Note: No refunds on
cancelled orders!

All of our kids are removed at birth, and housed separately from the mature animals. We have a clean herd, and vaccinate regularly. Due to bio-security precautions, we donot offer buck service. However, limited semen is available on some of our bucks. Whilewe do test for CAE on an annual basis, we elect to follow a strict CAE preventionprogram, raising all kids on colustrum replacer and pasteurized milk. We feed the bestquality of alfalfa we can find, with bicarbonate and mineral salt available free choice.

We guarantee the health of our animals at the time of shipment, but we cannot guaranteeyour management. If any genetic abnormalities are found, please send a letter from yourveterinarian stating the issue, and we will work on getting your replacement. Since wemaintain a closed herd, we will not allow animals to return after leaving, but if you arerequesting a replacement, you must notify us prior to selling the animal in question. Wemay then ask for the problem animal to be euthanized or neutered by a vet and acertificate sent to us, depending on the reason asking for the replacement.

We strive to breed Nigerians that fall under the ADGA height allowance, but whendealing with genetics, there are never any guarantees as how a kid will mature, thereforewe cannot guarantee the mature height of any kid.

We do ship; If you need to use our kennel, we require an additional $75.00 deposit, which is refundable upon return of the kennel. Odeon will provide transportation to theair terminal, but all other shipping and related costs will be paid by the purchaser (airfare, health papers, etc.) We prefer to ship via Alaska Airlines, but we have also shipped viaDelta Airlines with no problems. We will gladly help you make shipping arrangementsthat are the most cost effective. We do however love to show off our animals, and wouldlove to have you come to the farm to pick up your purchase in person whenever possible!

We were blessed to be able to add the best of the Sandy Hollow animals when Karmaannounced her complete dispersal in Oct of 07. I have always considered Karma as myNigerian Mentor, and although I will miss seeing her at shows, I am pleased that she hasentrusted me to carry on with her wonderful animals.

In 2008 introduced some other changes to Odeon Ranch… Toggenburgs! We werefortunate to add an Adonai doe, a Jitterbug doeling, and our newest foundation sire, ahandsome young buckling from Waiilatpu! With a new breed, also comes a newherdname! Be sure to take a look at the "Broke Goat Mtn" Toggenburg herd!

Thank you again for your interest, and if we can be of any further help please do not hesitate to ask
